In God We trust

It has been more than a month since the stay-at-home mandate, and each one of us is feeling frustrated and anxious to get back to our normal lives. In the meantime, there are many unanswered questions and concerns pervading our minds which inevitably have caused doubt, anxiety, and fear in our hearts.

During these difficult and challenging times, no one is answering our questions and concerns or giving us hope and peace except our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the answer for everything: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body what you will wear… Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span? If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, oh you of little faith?” (Matt 6:25-30).

Therefore, let us entrust our unknown future to God’s providential care and “Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make our requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:6-7).

Blessed are those who believe for they will receive.
