Present:    Father Szolack, , Diane Cusick, Frank Dunleavy, Tammy Gatto, Steve Graham and Patti Graham.

1.  Father Szolack led council in an opening prayer.

2.  Minutes were approved from the March meeting.

4.  Father Szolack reported that our Parish is in need of a new CRE (Coordinator Religious Education).  This is a part-time position.  Father would like to establish a sub-committee for purpose of advertising the position, to conduct interviews and make recommendations.  We discussed the need for a strategy for recruitment of Altar Servers at St. John Vianney Church.  Father indicated a possibility of changes in our Mass schedule, namely the possibility of adding a Mass; possibly a Youth Mass.

5. Deanery Meeting:  On April 27, 2011, Bishop Galante will meet with Deanery Council regarding progress in Harvesting the Gifts.  We are in the largest Deanery.  The Bishop will hear from representatives from each of the Parishes.  Steve Graham with be our Parish Representative.

6. Census:  Steve reports that the data recently collected was given to Sharon enter in our Parish software.  A second round will be collected from CCD and St. Margaret School.  A third round will be collected again following Mass the weekend of April 9-10.  We will coordinate with members of Parish Council to ensure that representatives will be available after each Mass for this purpose.

7.  Registration:  We reviewed our current Registration Form to analyze if it can be improved.  We discussed implementing a welcome kit to provide information to our parishioners.  

8.  Spiritual Committee Update:  Patti gave an update regarding Soup and Scripture before Stations of the Cross on Friday evenings.  In addition,a Lenton Journey Through Meditation and Song is scheduled for April 10th.  A free will donation will be collected at the door with proceeds to Good Counsel Homes.

9.  Parish Website Update:  Steve has implemented an electronic registration for online use.  In addition, a video interview series with Deacon James is in the works.

10.  Deacon James Ordination:  The Ordination of Deacon James will be on May 7, 2011.  He will celebrate his First Mass at St. Margaret Church on Sunday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. with a dinner in the Hall at 4:00 p.m.

8.  Old Business:  No comments.

10.  The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ministry Center.
